Locally Owned. Texas Proud.
RainMaker Industries LLC is a family-owned hydroseeding and erosion control company based in Amarillo, TX — serving the entire Texas Panhandle since 2009.
Our Story
RainMaker Industries is built on hands-on field experience, mechanical knowledge, and real-world operations. Chance Talbott began his career in wildland firefighting, working his way up to an Engine Boss position. That experience provided firsthand knowledge of fire suppression operations, water handling, pumps, and the importance of reliable equipment in demanding conditions.
Later, Chance owned and operated a hotshot and oilfield trucking company for 10 years, gaining extensive experience in logistics, equipment management, production efficiency, customer service, and operating a business in demanding environments. Chance learned welding, fabrication, and hands-on problem-solving from his father at a young age. He later built on those skills in industrial maintenance, progressing from millwright to supervisor and eventually maintenance manager while gaining extensive experience with mechanical systems, pumps, piping, and troubleshooting.
RainMaker Industries was built around practical solutions for the challenges we know firsthand here in the Texas Panhandle. From hydroseeding, erosion control, and land restoration to custom fire and water systems, our work reflects the conditions that shape this region — Drought • Fire • Flood. Today, we bring decades of combined field, mechanical, and operational experience to every project, with one goal: build and deliver solutions that work in the real world.

Local Expertise
We know Panhandle soils, wind patterns, and rainfall. Our seed mixes, application rates, and timing are calibrated for this specific region — not copied from a national playbook.
Quality Products
We use Flexterra HP-FGM and ProGanics Biotic Soil Media — industry-leading products that deliver measurably better germination and erosion protection.
Community
We hire locally, buy locally, and invest in the communities we serve. When you hire RainMaker, your money stays in the Panhandle.
Safety
Every job site is managed with safety as the top priority — for our crew, your property, and the surrounding environment.
